Anannya Dasgupta, contributor to the Daily Riyaaz (http://napowrimo2012.blogspot.com/), gave me a little primer on Haikus in English language and highlighted the need to focus on the economy of words, not the syllable metric. The English atvatar in her words, would better be synthesis in her proposed version. I keep both version as a testimony to learning. Thanks Annanya!!!
