twice the twice
a month's rainfall
in some few hours
changes the landscapes
alters the minds
makes life hard for some
takes it away for others.
And for those others' families
my thoughts
tonight
my thoughts.
And my rage
for my country
that chews its people,
grinds them to a halt.
